Support

Three things a module vendor is actually judged on: whether the board is still available, whether someone answers a schematic question, and whether the software comes up.

Supply

Ten years or more of supply on a board, from the day it first ships. Small runs and volume runs are both accepted. When a SoC reaches end of life, the successor is drawn on the same footprint wherever the silicon allows it, so the carrier and the enclosure survive the transition.

Tickets

Engineering support is run on Redmine rather than through a sales inbox. Customers get an account, file schematic questions, driver issues and BSP requests against their project, and follow them to close. Sales, technical and escalation lines are answered by different people.

Software

Android, Ubuntu and mainline Linux images are built and cut down per customer, and peripheral drivers are written in house. HarmonyOS work is under way on the embedded boards.

Customisation

Full-stack custom work, from a modified carrier through to a finished panel computer. The module is usually left alone and the carrier is redrawn, which keeps the certified part certified.

Ordering

Samples and small quantities go out through the Taobao and 1688 storefronts. Volume, custom boards and long-term supply agreements go through the sales line.

Send a specification

Tell us the peripherals, the temperature range and the volume, and you will get a module shortlist and a carrier proposal back.
